Santa Barbara is one of most beautiful cities in the world — but it’s not living up to its potential. It’s time for a big change.

• Stopping the 8-story apartment building behind the Mission

• Responsible housing growth — but in the right places, like the Macy’s or Sears complex, and in the Downtown Corridor (see: Fixing State Street)
